As soon as I had a camera of my own, I was in love. The first camera I ever owned was one of those hoaky “disc” cameras that were popular far longer ago than I care to admit, but I will never forget the feeling of arriving at the photo center to pick up my developed photographs. Flipping through the new photos always felt like opening a Christmas present, with that excited, fluttery feeling of anticipation.

Although technology is completely different today, I still feel very much the same way about creating photographs. It is a process and an exchange between people. Each photo session is dynamic and alive. I enjoy playing with color and composition to create memorable images.
